MARQUETTE CHARTER TOWNSHIP
Marquette Charter Township is offering an opportunity to participate as a member of the Planning Commission. It is the mission of the Planning Commission to act as the principal planning, policy, and program development body which provides advice to the Township Board on short and long-term issues affecting the economic, social, and physical development of the Township. The Planning Commission is comprised of five members appointed for staggered terms of three (3) years by the Charter Township of Marquette Supervisor with the approval of the Township Board. The five members represent the broad spectrum of the Township residential and business communities; with the current opportunity representing the areas of real estate and general development interests. The Planning Commission meets regularly the second and fourth Wednesday of each month beginning at 7:00pm.
